How Much Insurance Do You Need?

If you have good primary and secondary health insurance, should you also purchase auto medical coverage?

In the state of Georgia, you have a certain minimum limit of liability insurance, and that is 25/50. That means 25 per person and 50 for accident.

You can get upper limited insurance, which would be 50/100 or 100/300. And if you do that on liability, you can also get that amount of uninsured motorist insurance.

The reason the liability is there is to protect your assets in the event that you cause a wreck and hurt someone and they sue you. Your insurance company stands between the person who is hurt and your assets.

But if you’re in an accident with someone who doesn’t have insurance and you or a family member is injured, uninsured motorist insurance will then protect you.
